1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Radix (“Service”), operated by Radix Words Inc. (“Radix”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a school or school district, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity.
2. User Roles & Account Eligibility
Learners: Students may use Radix individually or within an authorized school classroom. Learners agree to practice honestly without utilizing automated scripts or bots to manipulate mastery scores.
Teachers: Educators creating classrooms agree to manage student rosters in accordance with their school’s applicable privacy and parental notice policies. Teachers agree to issue parent invite codes only to verifiable parents or guardians.
Parents: Guardians redeeming family access codes confirm that they possess legal guardianship over the student account being linked.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All curriculum structures, morphological sequences, lesson units, dictionary compilation entries, software algorithms, logos, and design systems are the exclusive intellectual property of Radix Words Inc. You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, or commercially redistribute any portion of the curriculum without express prior written consent.
4. Permissible Educational Use
Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely for personal educational study or authorized classroom instruction. Any attempt to disrupt service infrastructure, bypass rate limiters, or extract curriculum databases through automated scrapers is strictly prohibited.
5. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations
Paid family subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and access will continue through the end of the current paid billing period. School district purchase orders are invoiced annually according to agreed enrollment counts.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
While Radix is engineered to rigorously advance student reading comprehension and test scores, we make no explicit guarantee of specific standardized exam scores on the SAT or ACT. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. In no event shall Radix Words Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
